PMAB Subcommittees
Subcommittees meet periodically throughout the year, in closed meetings, to develop information to help the full Board formulate their recommendations to the President and the President’s Management Council. All final subcommittee reports will be posted on the site.
PMAB has formed two subcommittees for 2012:
Strategic Sourcing
This subcommittee is identifying private sector best practices in strategic sourcing that can be transferred to the Federal Government.

Improper Payments
This subcommittee is improving efforts to reduce improper payments, focusing on data analytics and business intelligence solutions, and creating effective governance and oversight.

Senior Executive Service (SES) Development and Performance Management
This subcommittee examined opportunities to apply private sector best practices to improve SES leadership development and performance appraisal.

Information Technology (IT) Management and Governance
This subcommittee developed approaches to improve the effectiveness of the Federal government’s IT spending, focusing on portfolio management, program reviews, and oversight of contractors.
