Ana Marie Argilagos is the Deputy Chief of Staff for Operations, Programs, and Partnerships at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). In this role, Ms. Argilagos manages the day-to-day coordination of the Office of the Secretary and all agency operations. She directly supports the Chief of Staff in helping oversee programmatic development of the Department and provides expertise and advice on issues of immediate and long-range concern. Ms. Argilagos is also responsible for establishing and fostering engagement of a broad network of stakeholders, philanthropy and key constituent groups, especially around the Recovery plan and Administration priorities.

Before re-joining HUD, Ms. Argilagos worked at the Annie E. Casey Foundation, where she led efforts to build better futures for disadvantaged children and families in the U.S.

Prior to joining the Annie E. Casey Foundation in 2001, she worked at HUD in Policy Development and Research and for the Deputy Secretary; at the National Council of La Raza; the National Association of Hispanic Journalists; and AYUDA, a community-based legal clinic serving immigrants in Washington, DC.

Ana Marie holds a BA in International Relations from American University and a Masters in Public Administration from the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.
