Council Designee: Lauren Dunn, Executive Assistant, White House Domestic Policy Council
Lauren Dunn is the Executive Assistant in the DPC where she assists the work of the Director and the Deputy Director and works closely with the DPC Chief of Staff. Prior to joining the Administration she served as the Special Assistant to Melody Barnes,the Executive Vice President for Policy, at the Center for American Progress, where she was a member of the Faith and Progressive Policy team, a contributor to CampusProgress.org, and helped develop the Half-in-Ten anti-poverty campaign. Most recently, Lauren was a Rotary International Cultural Ambassadorial Scholar in Quito, Ecuador. Originally from Daytona Beach, Florida, she also holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston.
A graduate of Tufts University and the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, she started her career at NETWORK, A Catholic Social Justice Lobby, as a lobbying associate for economic equity issues in 2005.
