Each week the White House Office of Faith-based and Neighborhood Partnerships highlights grant opportunities and resources available for community and faith-based organizations. This week there are at least four new grant announcements for non-profits and an additional resource for those interested in helping their community.
Each Wednesday the White House Office of Faith-based and Neighborhood Partnerships will highlight Federal funding opportunities that faith and community based organizations are eligible to apply for and resources that could support local organizations efforts to serve those in need.
This is National Week of Prayer for the healing of AIDS. HHS Deputy Assistant Secretary and representatives from Centers for Faith-based and Neighborhood Partnerships across five Federal Departments discussed collaborative activities to support the goals of the National HIV/AIDS Strategy.

Jannah Scott, Deputy Director at the DHS Center for Faith-based and Neighborhood Partnership office provided the keynote address at the 6th Annual Intercultural Dialogue event in Denver. As a result, an interfaith/intercultural team of volunteers will be created to promote emergency preparedness and support first responders when a crisis incident occurs.
