Welcome to the Council on Women and Girls Weekly Highlights! Women’s History Month is in full swing! This week the Administration celebrated the 100th Anniversary of International Women’s Day and honored remarkable women and girls at home and around the world. In addition, the President, First Lady, and members of the Administration participated in an important conference on bullying. We also featured an amazing woman in the Administration, Tammy Duckworth, Assistant Secretary of Veterans Affairs. Please read below about her story and these incredible events.
