U.S. and Canadian B&B’s sending Thanks to Military and Families

Summary:
In honor of Veterans Day, bed and breakfast inns across the nation are doing something special to show their support of our veterans and military families.

In honor of Veterans Day, bed and breakfast inns across the nation are doing something special to show their support of our veterans and military families. As a warm example of the nation’s gratitude to our veterans and military families, hundreds of bed and breakfast inns will offer a free night’s stay to those who are serving or have served our country.

To thank military members and their families, Better Way to Stay has coordinated with innkeepers across the United States and Canada. On November 10th, military service members, veterans and one guest will be invited to stay, free of charge, at one of the 325 participating bed and breakfast inns across the nation and Canada.

Check out more details about the offer and a full list of American Inns or listings for participating Canadian bed and breakfasts.

Communities, organizations and individuals all around the country are stepping up with creative ideas like this to say thanks to military families. The Joining Forces Community Challenge is an initiative to celebrate the great work that is being done to honor and support those who deserve it the most, our service members and their loved ones. Share success stories and nominate someone who is making a positive impact in military families' lives to the Joining Forces Community Challenge before the deadline at the end of the month.

Brad Cooper is Executive Director of Joining Forces in the Office of the First Lady.
