Tobin Marcus

Economic Policy Advisor to the Vice President

Tobin Marcus is Vice President Biden's Economic Policy Advisor. Since joining the Vice President's economic policy staff in February 2009, Tobin has advised the Vice President on the state of the economy and on economic policy issues including tax policy, job creation, manufacturing, and retirement security. Prior to joining the Administration, he worked at the Economic Policy Institute, where he conducted research on the labor market and worked on policies to improve the living standards of American workers. Tobin was born in Austin, Texas and raised in Silver Spring, Maryland. He is a graduate of Brown University.
