Sally Allocca and a group of committed neighborhood and church volunteers created Promoting Empowerment and Enrichment Resources (P.E.E.R., Inc.). The group began listening to the voices of the people in the neighborhood, and eventually P.E.E.R., Inc. started providing access to fresh, healthy food as a resource and connecting point to everyone in the community.
