We congratulated the 1 millionth beneficiary of this landmark program, who is a great representative of the Post-9/11 Veteran generation; which has sacrificed so much for our country. This GI Bill program is just one small way our nation can say “thank you” to these men and women for their service.

Ohio announces it will join the majority of states and move forward with expanding the Ohio Medicaid program, as called for by the Affordable Care Act. As a result, nearly 270,000 previously uninsured Ohio residents are estimated to gain coverage through Medicaid next year.
