She pursued a Masters in Public Health from Johns Hopkins University becoming a division manager in the School of Medicine working with physician scientists and clinicians. Robin’s vision is to grow the affiliate and develop more partnerships and collaborations in Maryland to continue to make a difference in the lives of those currently diagnosed with breast cancer and to positively impact the morbidity and mortality of women who will be diagnosed in the future. Since 2000 Komen Maryland has ranked in the top ten affiliates out of 125 nationwide receiving the prestigious Affiliate of the Year award in 2007. This year Robin received the inaugural Excellence in Leadership Award at Komen Headquarters and will celebrate her 11th year as executive director and her 19th year of running in the Komen Maryland Race for the Cure.
