Jessenia Alcantara
Prior to serving as Program Coordinator for iMentor, Jess was the founding Chapter Director for the Strong Women, Strong Girls (SWSG), Florida International University chapter, guiding a cohort of college women to mentor over 200 elementary school girls across Miami Dade County. She was a Behavior Therapist for the Children’s Health and Educational Management Center in South Miami providing behavior therapy for children with Autism and related disorders. She was also the first AmeriCorps Full-time Service Member for the South Florida Office, where she coordinated and developed several programs including the Mentor2Mentor and Parent Engagement program. She is a graduate of Florida International University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Behavior Analysis.
