Blue Star Families is a nonprofit organization passionately dedicated to helping military families across America. The mission is simple: to support, empower and connect military families to each other, their communities and to people in power. Blue Star Families recently partnered with the Creative Coalition for a series of public service announcements on suicide prevention for military families. Senior military officials, leaders in government and business, and members of the entertainment community joined military family representatives on Thursday for the launch of a new suicide prevention PSA campaign aimed at military families and veterans. The new spots, with the theme “I don't know what it's like...,” premiered at a reception at the American Red Cross Great Hall of Service in Washington, D.C.
