President's Schedule - April 23, 2013

At 8:30 AM, the Vice President will meet with the Amir of Qatar, His Highness Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani, at the Naval Observatory. This meeting is closed press.

In the morning, the President and the Vice President will receive the Presidential Daily Briefing in the Oval Office. This meeting is closed press.

Later, the Vice President and Dr. Jill Biden will travel to New York City. At 8:30 PM, the Vice President will attend and deliver remarks at the annual TIME 100 dinner at Lincoln Center.

Later in the morning, the President will meet with senior advisors in the Oval Office. This meeting is closed press.

In the afternoon, the President will honor the 2013 National Teacher of the Year and finalists at the White House, thanking them for their hard work and dedication each and every day in the classroom.  The event in the Rose Garden is open press.

Later in the afternoon, the President will meet with the Amir of Qatar, His Highness Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani, in the Oval Office.  There will be a pool spray at the bottom of this meeting.

In the evening, the President will have dinner with a bipartisan group of women Senators at the White House.  This dinner in the State Dining Room is closed press.
