Vice President's Schedule - August 1, 2012

In the morning, the President will depart the White House en route Mansfield, Ohio. The departure from the South Lawn and arrival at Mansfield Air National Guard Base are open press. 

While in Mansfield, the President will deliver remarks at a campaign event at Mansfield Central Park. This event is open to pre-credentialed media.

In the afternoon, the President will depart Mansfield, Ohio, en route Akron, Ohio. The departure from the Mansfield Air National Guard Base and the arrival at Akron-Canton Regional Airport are open press.

Later in the afternoon, the President will deliver remarks at a campaign event at the John S. Knight Center. This event is open to pre-credentialed media.

In the evening, the President will return to Washington, DC.  The departure from Akron-Canton Regional Airport and the arrival on the South Lawn are open press.

Today, the Vice President will meet with senior advisors.

At 5:15 PM, the Vice President will host a reception for the Presidential Commission for the Study of Bioethical Issues at the Naval Observatory.
