Vice President's Schedule - January 3, 2013

In the afternoon, the Vice President will swear in new members of the United States Senate at the U.S. Capitol. These swearings-in are open press.

At 7:00 PM, the Vice President and Dr. Jill Biden will attend an event with the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute to welcome new Hispanic Members of Congress. The Vice President will deliver remarks and ceremonially swear in the Hispanic members of the 113th Congress. The First Family will be in Honolulu, Hawaii through Saturday, January 5, 2013. The President will receive the Presidential Daily Briefing every day, but there are no public events scheduled.
