Welcome to the Council on Women and Girls weekly highlights! This week, President Obama discussed winning the future while speaking to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce on the shared responsibilities of government and business to America. Vice President Biden visited Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to highlight the importance of building a strong infrastructure for our country through high speed rail. In addition, the First Lady celebrated the first anniversary of the First Lady’s “Let’s Move” campaign.  Our program, Text4Baby, also celebrated it’s one year Anniversary.  Read about this and all of our other efforts below.
