Something exciting is happening today on the South Lawn of the White House. In partnership with National Geographic Kids Magazine, First Lady Michelle Obama will launch a challenge to help break the Guinness World Records® title for the most people doing jumping jacks in a 24-hour period.

You can watch the jumping jacks kick-off live beginning at 2:00 p.m. EDT at WhiteHouse.gov/Live.

The First Lady will serve as the “Jumper in Chief” and lead hundreds of local kids in doing one minute of continuous jumping jacks.

This Let's Move! event will be reviewed by an official from the Guinness World Records and will signal the beginning of the 24-hour challenge. To break the record, more than 20,000 people from around the world need to get on their feet and do jumping jacks for one minute.
