Join the Recovery Month Celebration on September 17th!

Summary:
Join us on September 17, 2015 from 7:00-8:00PM ET for an online event at the White House in celebration of Recovery Month.

On September 17, 2015 from 7:00-8:00PM ET, we will host an online event at the White House in celebration of National Alcohol and Drug Addiction Recovery Month (Recovery Month) with a special focus on youth in recovery.

Tune in and watch the event, or better yet, host a viewing party of your friends, family, and stakeholders. With your help, this event will be a significant occasion to celebrate and inspire millions of young persons in recovery, and raise awareness about critical resources and commitments needed to help other young people in their journeys.

Register yourself and/or your viewing party to let us know you’re in!

We are assembling a group of dynamic leaders in the youth recovery movement for an online panel to educate, inform, and inspire a message of hope to youth in recovery or not yet in recovery. During the event, we will feature tweets with questions for panelists in recovery. To submit your question for consideration on Twitter, tweet at @Botticelli44 using the hashtag #RecoveryatWH at any time prior to or during the event.

Please help us to highlight stories of recovery and triumph, and help lift the stigma associated with substance use disorders. Please feel free to contact Nataki MacMurray at recovery@ondcp.eop.gov or (202) 395-5510 if you have any questions.
