In the morning, the President and the Vice President will receive the Presidential Daily Briefing in the Oval Office. This meeting is closed press.

In the afternoon, the President will meet with members of the President's Council of Advisors on Science and Technology (PCAST); the Vice President will also attend. The meeting in the Roosevelt Room is closed press.

Later in the afternoon, the President will deliver brief remarks to an audience of criminal justice activists, state and local elected officials, and community leaders gathered for a screening of “Fixing the System,” an upcoming special documentary by VICE Media on criminal justice reform airing September 27 on HBO, that features the President's visit to El Reno Federal Correctional Institution. In the afternoon, the President will meet with the three young Americans who responded heroically on the train in Paris last month to express his gratitude for the selfless actions and extraordinary bravery of U.S. Army Specialist Alek Skarlatos, U.S. Air Force Airman 1st Class Spencer Stone, and Mr. Anthony Sadler. Later in the morning, the President will meet with Secretary of Health and Human Services Burwell in the Oval Office. This meeting is closed press.

In the afternoon, the President will welcome the 2015 NCAA Women’s Basketball Champion University of Connecticut Huskies to the White House to honor the team for winning their Championship title. This visit will continue the tradition begun by President Obama of honoring sports teams for their efforts to give back to their communities. This event in the East Room will be open press.

Afterwards, the President will have lunch with the Vice President in the Private Dining Room. This lunch is closed press.

Later in the afternoon, the President will host Their Majesties King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia of Spain at the White House. Their visit reinforces the strong and enduring ties between the American and Spanish people. The First Lady will also host Queen Letizia for tea and a tour of the White House Kitchen Garden.  There will be a pool spray at the bottom of the bilateral meeting in the Oval Office.
