Nezly Silva served as Special Assistant to the Director of Intergovernmental Affairs in the White House Office of Intergovernmental Affairs. Prior to joining the Biden-Harris Administration, Nezly served as Special Assistant on the Biden-Harris Transition Team helping lead Outreach for the Latino and Immigration policy portfolio. Before that, she worked as Research Manager at FWD.us, a bipartisan organization working to advance immigration and criminal justice reform. Nezly also served as a Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute (CHCI) intern for Congressman Adriano Espaillat (NY-14), where she facilitated constituent services, drafted correspondence, and supported the Congressman’s work on the Small Business Committee. Before moving to Washington, D.C., Nezly worked as a BIA Accredited Representative for Catholic Charities of Arkansas. She graduated magna cum laude from the University of Arkansas where she earned a B.A. in Social Work and bachelor’s in Latin American Studies.
