Jennifer Hunt is a decorated U.S. Army combat Veteran, having served 21 years as a Civil Affairs Specialist in the U.S. Army Reserves. She is also a dedicated public servant, with seven years of federal service at the Department of Veterans Affairs. During her time the Department of Veterans Affairs Jennifer served in roles supporting the Assistant Under Secretary of Health for Community Care (now Integrated Veterans Care), problem solving for Veterans receiving payment requests for authorized community care health services. In her role as the Veterans Health Administration’s Veteran Service Organizations liaison, Jennifer oversees relationship management, communications, and event management for a vast number of stakeholders, both traditional and nontraditional. In her current role, Jennifer is the bridge between the veteran and military connected community and the White House.

Jennifer is a proud mother of two and accomplished beekeeper. Jennifer’s story of service can be found in Out of the Shadows: Voices of American Women Soldiers written by Ron Farina, published in summer of 2021. She was also named a Foreign Policy Global Thinker by Foreign Policy Magazine for her work to end the combat exclusion policy.
