Open Government Awards
In 2014, the OGP launched the Open Government Awards to recognize efforts made by governments alongside civil society organizations. The 2014 theme was “citizen engagement” and submissions were intended to highlight ways countries work together with civil society to advance national priorities. The United States submission was titled “Collaboration and Innovation through Prizes, Crowdsourcing, and Citizen Science.”
