Public Comment

Public attendance at PCAST meetings will be virtual-only until further notice. Public comments can be submitted as written statements or as a video to be played during the public comment session at public meetings.  Public comment is designed only for substantive commentary on PCAST’s work, not for business marketing purposes. PCAST expects that public statements presented at its meetings will not be repetitive of previously submitted oral or written statements.

To accommodate as many video comments as possible, the time for public comment videos is limited to two (2) minutes per person, with a total public comment period not to exceed 10 minutes. Those not selected may always submit written comments to the committee. Written comments are accepted continuously and should be no longer than 10 pages. To submit written comments, please e-mail:

Please note that because PCAST operates under the provisions of FACA, all public comments and presentations will be treated as public documents and will be made available for public inspection, including being posted on this PCAST website.

If you are interested in submitting a video comment, please fill out the following form. In the field marked “Your Name“, please include your affiliation, i.e. “First Last – Affiliation”.
