Public attendance at PCAST meetings will be virtual-only until further notice.
Public comments can be submitted as written statements or as oral comments provided during the public comment session at public meetings. Public comment is designed only for substantive commentary on PCAST’s work, not for business marketing purposes. PCAST expects that oral comments presented at its meetings will not be repetitive of previously submitted oral or written statements.
To accommodate as many speakers as possible, oral comments are limited to two (2) minutes per person, with a total public comment period not to exceed 10 minutes. Those not selected may always submit written comments to the council. Written comments are accepted continuously and should be no longer than 10 pages.
To submit written comments or request to provide oral comments, please e-mail: PCAST@ostp.eop.gov. As stated in PCAST meeting Federal Register notices, requests for providing oral comments at a PCAST meeting must be received at least seven (7) calendar days prior to the meeting. Requests received after this deadline will be accommodated at the next PCAST meeting.
Please note that because PCAST operates under the provisions of FACA, all written and oral public comments and presentations will be treated as public documents and will be made available for public inspection, including being posted on the PCAST website.
