Readout of the Vice President’s Call with His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said Al Said of Oman

The Vice President spoke with His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said Al Said of Oman yesterday.  The Vice President thanked the Sultan for his continued leadership in trying to defuse regional tensions and end the bloodshed in Yemen. Both the Vice President and the Sultan reiterated their commitment to pursuing a negotiated political solution to the conflict.
