Statement by the Press Secretary on Senior Advisor to the President Brian Deese's Travel to New Delhi, India and Beijing, China

Senior Advisor to the President Brian Deese will visit New Delhi, India on September 7, 2015 and Beijing, China from September 9-10, 2015. He will meet with senior officials in both countries, including Foreign Secretary Subrahmanyam Jaishankar in India and Executive Vice Premier Zhang Gaoli in China, to consult on key international climate change issues. In both countries, he will underscore the United States' commitment to strong domestic action on climate change and the value of strong bilateral partnerships to help secure an ambitious outcome at the Paris climate conference.
