Washington, DC * 1:15PM ET – As part of the Joining Forces initiative, the First Lady will visit Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, where she will give brief remarks and deliver toys and gifts donated by Executive Office of the President staff to the Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Campaign.

Washington, DC * 2:00PM ET – Continuing a tradition dating back to Bess Truman, the First Lady will visit the Children’s National Health System in Washington, DC. At the hospital, Mrs. Obama will take a tour, visit patients, and thank the Children’s staff for their work. Following the tour, she will read to children and take their questions in the hospital’s atrium.
