United Nations General Assembly

President Donald J. Trump will be participating in the 72nd United Nations General Assembly this week. The President will meet with world leaders to discuss the many challenges facing the globe, as well as how the United States can continue to join with others to promote peace and prosperity and uphold sovereignty and accountability.

Day 1

On Monday, President Trump will arrive in New York City and deliver remarks on reforming the United Nations through changes in management, security, and development. In the afternoon, he will participate in bilateral meetings with leaders from Israel and France, followed by a working dinner held in honor of Latin American leaders.

Day 2

Tuesday, President Trump will deliver an address to the 72nd session of the United General Assembly. He will then attend a bilateral meeting and luncheon with United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guterres. In the afternoon, the President will engage in bilateral meetings with UN President of the General Assembly President Miroslay Lajcak and with leaders from Qatar. The President and First Lady will host a diplomatic reception later in the evening.

Day 3

Wednesday morning, President Trump will join leaders from Jordan and the Palestinian Authority for expanded bilateral meetings, followed by a meet and greet with the United States Mission. First Lady Melania Trump will host a luncheon in the early afternoon, and the President will participate in a working luncheon in honor of African Leaders. President Trump will spend his afternoon participating in additional expanded bilateral meetings with United Kingdom and Egyptian leaders.

Day 4

Thursday, the fourth and final day, President Trump will attend bilateral meetings with leaders from Afghanistan, Ukraine, and South Korea in the morning. The National Security Council will deliver a briefing in the early afternoon. Following this, the President partake in a working lunch with the Republic of Korea and Japan, followed by bilateral meetings with Japan and Turkey in the afternoon.
