On Friday, May 13th, the White House Initiative on Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders and the White House Council on Women and Girls hosted a nationwide conference call on AAPI women’s issues.  The call featured remarks from Chief of Staff to the First Lady and Executive Director of the Council, Tina Tchen, and White House Adviser on Violence Against Women, Lynn Rosenthal, along with a panel of senior Administration officials from HHS and DOL on the Affordable Care Act, violence against AAPI women, and AAPI women worker health and safety.
