This week, the President signed a bipartisan trade deal, welcomed the President of Brazil to the White House--and showed her one of our national treasures--hosted 50 girls in green on the South Lawn for a campout to celebrate the great outdoors, answered questions about healthcare in Tennessee and online, and traveled to Wisconsin to announce new overtime protections for hard-working Americans. That's June 26th to July 2nd or, "Amazing Grace."

  • The President signed two bills into law that would help rewrite the rules of our trade policy to enact enforceable, progressive standards on labor and the environment, and help U.S. small and large businesses alike compete in a global economy.
  • The President took fellow President Dilma Rousseff of Brazil on an outing to one of the newest treasures of our National Park Service -- the Martin Luther King, Jr. memorial.
Tuesday, June 30th
  • The President met with President Dilma Rousseff in the Oval Office. Later they held a joint press conference.
  • Fifty Girl Scouts held a campout on the South Lawn, with visits from the First Lady and the President.
