President Obama Announces Another Key Administration Post

WASHINGTON, DC – Today, President Barack Obama announced his intent to appoint the following individual to a key Administration post:

  • Robert L. Morgan – Member, Utah Reclamation Mitigation and Conservation Commission

President Obama announced his intent to appoint the following individual to a key Administration post: 

Robert L. Morgan, Appointee for Member, Utah Reclamation Mitigation and Conservation Commission
Robert L. Morgan is retired and has independently consulted on water rights since 2005.  Previously, he served as the Executive Director for the Utah Department of Natural Resources from 2002 to 2004.  Prior to that, he was the State Engineer for the State of Utah from 1985 to 2002.  From 1977 to 1985, Mr. Morgan was the Assistant State Engineer for Dam Safety.  He has also served as a Regional Engineer at the Utah Division of Water Rights from 1974 to 1977.  Mr. Morgan began his career as a Hydrolic Engineer at the Utah Division of Water Resources from 1970 to 1974.  Mr. Morgan holds a B.S. from University of Utah.
