Given the challenges facing the air traffic system, these funds are a vital down payment on updating the technology that guides 27,000 flights, 2.7 million passengers and 61,000 tons of cargo every day—all while driving five percent of our nation’s GDP. The legislation also makes smart, strategic investments in Customs and Border Protection personnel and training for the aviation workforce of tomorrow while supporting American energy dominance in aviation fuel production. This legislation also takes meaningful action to cut billions in special interest giveaways, reforming broken programs, and rooting out waste, fraud, and abuse – ensuring that taxpayers’ hard-earned dollars are spent wisely. The One Big Beautiful Bill looks at the core of what makes American families flourish and reaffirms this bedrock of American society. We believe this bill must be taken up and passed.”
Asian American Hotel Owners Association (AAHOA), Kamalesh (KP) Patel, Chairman: “This bill represents a major step forward for thousands of hotel owners who have long called for clarity and consistency in the tax code. For Main Street businesses like ours, tax certainty and a competitive environment are not abstract policy goals—they are the foundation of our ability to invest, grow, and keep America building…The only way to deliver these urgently needed reforms and fully advance President Trump’s agenda to build, grow, and win in America is to pass the bill as it stands—without delay, and without watering down the policies that will fuel our economy and unleash growth here at home.”
Associated Equipment Distributors (AED), Brian P. McGuire, President and Chief Executive Officer: “The House budget reconciliation package restores certainty to the tax code, reinstates or extends critical policies from the Tax Cuts & Jobs Act, expedites the approval of energy infrastructure projects, and ensures all users of the nation’s roads and bridges pay into the Highway Trust Fund. In particular, we commend the Committee for retaining the pro-growth corporate tax rate and restoring key business tax provisions, including the EBITDA standard, that will enable capital-intensive companies like Charter to continue investing in critical infrastructure—especially broadband expansion in rural communities. These provisions strengthen local economies, create good-paying jobs, support small businesses, enhance educational access, and boost productivity in underserved regions.”

Christian Employers Alliance, Margaret Iuculano, President: “The bill incentivizes U.S. businesses to invest in the research, risk, and rewards that drive innovation. By continuing to let employers expense 100% of their qualified domestic R&D costs through 2029, the bill gives businesses the runway they need to reach for the skies.”
Coalition of 15 transportation and infrastructure organizations: “Investing in the nation’s infrastructure provides far-reaching economic and quality of life benefits, but these improvements depend on the continuity and predictability of funding supported by a healthy Highway Trust Fund (HTF). Energy marketers represent a vital link in the motor and heating fuels distribution chain. EMA members supply 80 percent of all finished motor and heating fuel products sold nationwide including renewable hydrocarbon biofuels, gasoline, diesel fuel, biofuels, heating fuel, jet fuel, kerosene, racing fuel and lubricating oils. Restoring the critical pass-through deduction and 100 percent bonus depreciation will help small business energy marketers continue to provide affordable and reliable motor and heating fuels to the American public. On top of that, this legislation guarantees that all vehicles pay their fair share into the Highway Trust Fund, which is desperately needed.”
GPA Midstream: “GPA Midstream applauds the House of Representatives for passing a congressional disapproval resolution of the methane emissions fee on oil and natural gas facilities. We are grateful for August Pfluger’s (TX-11) leadership in introducing this resolution that would use the Congressional Review Act to block the Waste Emissions Charge (WEC), which was finalized by President Biden’s US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
The WEC imposes an unnecessary and costly tax on the American people through GPA Midstream members and their operations. Midstream operations are critical to the supply chain, providing affordable, reliable, and cleaner energy to heat and power American homes and businesses.
With or without the WEC, GPA Midstream members are committed to proactively stopping leaks. In fact, US methane emissions dropped 19% from 1990-2022, before the Waste Emissions Charge was passed.”
National Restaurant Association: “This legislation is a major victory for restaurant owners, employees, and the communities they serve. It incorporates key tax provisions vital for industry growth, such as the 199A qualified business incowme deduction, full expensing of capital investments, and the reinstatement of depreciation and amortization in calculating business interest expenses. These measures are crucial for helping businesses have the working capital they need to cover payroll, manage rising supply costs, and stay competitive.
The inclusion of the No Tax on Tips and No Tax on Overtime provisions recognizes the value of our dedicated workforce. More than two million tipped servers and bartenders stand to benefit, while the overtime measure rewards the commitment of over 13 million hourly team members across the sector.
Tax policy can determine the survival of small businesses, especially restaurants, where pre-tax margins are often just 3–5%. The inclusion of so many supportive policies was made possible by the unified efforts of our National and State Association members, including the restaurant owners, industry advocates, and employees who shared compelling stories with House members about the positive effect these changes will have on businesses and local economies. We’re grateful for the strong policy provisions and look forward to collaborating with the Senate as the process moves forward.” – CEO Michelle Korsmo

Coalition for 1099-K Fairness: “The Coalition for 1099-K Fairness strongly supports language in the “One, Big, Beautiful Bill,” that would raise the 1099-K reporting threshold. The commonsense provision would increase the threshold to more than $20,000 in total payments and more than 200 transactions in a calendar year and prevent the upcoming implementation – originally mandated by the American Rescue Plan Act (ARP) – of a $600 reporting threshold, regardless of the number of transactions, beginning in 2026. This long-overdue fix is a win for the millions of Americans who sell used goods online, run microbusinesses or use digital platforms to earn supplemental income.”
Concerned Veterans for America (CVA), John Vick, Executive Director: “Failing to extend President Trump’s Tax Cuts and Jobs Act would impose the largest tax hike in U.S. history on American families and businesses. Congress must seize its opportunity to protect our long-term prosperity while improving the lives of middle-class Americans. The American people sent a clear message last November: they are tired of massive tax hikes, higher prices, reckless government spending, and Biden-era “Green New Deal” giveaways. Congress must answer this call by moving budget reconciliation forward. As veterans, we fought for a better future for our fellow Americans. We also understand that a strong economy is the bedrock of American strength at home and abroad. Today, CVA calls on Congress to act to protect the promise of long-term economic growth and prosperity for all Americans.”

We have the most secure border in American history, but we can’t let up now: this bill will fund our Border Patrol and ICE agents to carry out the arrest and removal of criminal illegal aliens. Make America Safe Again!”
Economic Investment Alliance: “The House Committee on Ways and Means took an important step towards helping the American economy grow by approving ‘The One Big, Beautiful Bill’ which restores full expensing to 100%. Immediate full expensing is a smart policy with a proven history as one of the most effective ways to spark economic growth…As the reconciliation bill moves ahead, we are eager to work with lawmakers in the House and Senate to ensure 100% full expensing is extended for as long as possible to provide the greatest level of certainty to spur economic growth nationwide.”
ICSC: “ICSC supports passage of the House reconciliation package. The legislation maintains a consistent, fair playing field for commercial real estate entities, and even improves upon certain portions of the 2017 tax bill. Our members will be able to invest more resources into their local communities because of the framework this bill provides.”
INCOMPAS, Chip Pickering, Chief Executive Officer: “Today, I offer my strongest endorsement of the final reconciliation bill, specifically highlighting section 43201 which allocates $500 million to the Department of Commerce for government-wide AI implementation and includes a critical temporary moratorium on state regulations. This substantial investment will drive federal modernization, while preventing a regulatory patchwork that would undermine America’s competitiveness in the global AI race against China.I applaud Chairman Guthrie and the Committee for their foresight in simultaneously addressing technology modernization, streamlining regulation, and strengthening our essential digital and energy infrastructure. This reconciliation package delivers precisely what’s needed to secure America’s AI leadership.”
Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of America (Big “I”), Charles Symington, President and Chief Executive Officer: “The Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of America (Big ‘I’) applauds the work done by Chairman Jason Smith, the Ways and Means Committee Members and House Republican Leadership on the final text of the One Big Beautiful Bill Act. Our members operate in thirty-three states as well as offshore and are the primary producers of the nation’s oil and natural gas and account for 83 percent of America’s oil production and 90 percent of its natural gas output. IPAA members truly are the face of small business in America’s oil and natural gas patch and believe it is important for the nation to support President Trump’s “One Big Beautiful Bill Act.”
Independent Women’s Forum, Patrice Onwuka, Director of the Center for Economic Opportunity: “Passing the Big, Beautiful Bill is an imperative. The stakes are high. If Congress fails to pass this bill, average Americans face a massive 22% tax increase, 40 million families will see their Child Tax Credit slashed in half, and 26 million small businesses face a 43.4% top tax rate. Republicans should not hold up tax relief for American families and small businesses to bail out high-tax blue states.”
Independent Women’s Voice, Patrice Onwuka: “Great news that the “Big, Beautiful Bill” passed out of the @HouseBudgetGOP. Greater common sense Medicaid reforms & spending reductions & historic tax cuts by the committee strengthened this important tax relief and energy bill. We urge a full House floor vote soon. Every member who cares about their constituents should vote YES!”
Innovator Alliance: “The Innovator Alliance, comprised of the undersigned organizations, commends the House for its leadership and writes in support of H. Con. Res. 14, the One Big Beautiful Bill Act. The current text advances a pro-growth tax policy framework, and while we look forward to working to further enhance aspects of the legislation, this bill is a critical step forward and we support its passage.”
Interest Deductibility Working Group: “The Interest Deductibility Working Group strongly supports passage of the One, Big, Beautiful Bill Act by the full House of Representatives. Included in the package, the pro-growth policy of restoring the 30% of EBITDA standard for five years will enable U.S. companies to invest billions into strengthening American competitiveness. We’re deeply encouraged by this commitment to foster growth and opportunity for our businesses and communities nationwide, and look forward to working with Congress and President Trump to advance this critical policy.”
International Franchise Association (IFA), Michael Layman, Chief Advocacy Officer: “IFA applauds passage of the Ways and Means Committee’s tax legislation, which will invigorate the American small business economy. This bill includes several provisions that have proven to be lifelines for franchise owners and will prevent a tax increase at a time when they need support most. Franchise small businesses are a vital engine of the American economy, supporting millions of jobs and serving communities across the nation, and this legislation will allow them to thrive, invest, and create more opportunities. We urge the full House of Representatives to swiftly pass this bill to provide a more stable and predictable tax environment for the continued success of franchise businesses.”
Interstate Natural Gas Association of America, Amy Andryszak, President and Chief Executive Officer: “On behalf of the Interstate Natural Gas Association of America (INGAA), I write in support of provisions in the Concurrent Resolution on the Budget for Fiscal Year 2025, H. Con. Res. 14, which would expedite permitting timelines and judicial reviews and lessen the tax liability for energy infrastructure…INGAA and the companies we represent urge Congress to work in a bipartisan manner to enact H. Con. Res. 14 and other energy infrastructure permitting and tax reforms to continue delivering the advantages of natural gas to the American people.”
IPC: “On behalf of the more than 1,400 U.S. companies across every segment of the electronics industry, I write to express our support for pro-growth, business provisions included in H. Con. Res. 14, the One Big Beautiful Bill Act. These policies will strengthen our industry’s ability to invest, innovate, and remain competitive in today’s fast changing global economy.”
Job Creators Network, Alfredo Ortiz, Chief Executive Officer: “House Republicans’ big, beautiful reconciliation bill is exactly what the country needs to jumpstart the economy and guarantee the safety and prosperity of Americans for decades to come. It helps people of all backgrounds but especially small businesses, the backbone of our economy, by making permanent and expanding the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act. It increases the small business tax deduction used by 26 million entrepreneurs annually from 20% to 23% — a tax cut Job Creators Network has long been the leading voice for. The bill also restores 100% immediate expensing, allowing businesses to write off investments, expansion, and modernization. It will empower Main Street to expand, hire, raise wages, and reinvest in their communities, while also providing significant tax relief for ordinary folks. All Republicans should unite to support this historic reconciliation bill. We need Tax Cuts Now.”
Louisiana Green Fuels LLC: “The One Big Beautiful Bill reflects a reasonable approach to maintaining and extending those energy tax credits which are keys to our country’s leadership position in advanced fuels.”
Lutheran Center for Religious Liberty (LCRL): “The LCRL stands in support of the Reconciliation Bill especially because it seeks to properly limit the role of government in our lives, it protects religious liberty, and especially advances the cause of educational freedom.”
Main Street Employers Coalition, coalition of 78 organizations representing Main Street businesses: “The undersigned organizations representing millions of Main Street businesses strongly support the reconciliation bill before the House of Representatives. This legislation builds on the success of the 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act by extending critical provisions and providing much-needed certainty to the Main Street business community.”
Montana Public Policy Center: “The Montana Public Policy Center strongly endorses President Donald J. Trump’s One, Big, Beautiful Bill Act, a transformative piece of legislation. This bill represents a historic opportunity to deliver on the priorities Montanans and Americans nationwide demanded in the last election: economic growth, energy independence, secure borders, and a competitive tax system that supports families and businesses.”
Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA), Bill Killmer, Senior Vice President, Legislative and Political Affairs: “On behalf of the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA), I write as the Committee on Ways and Means moves to consider Chairman Smith’s Amendment in the Nature of a Substitute (ANS) at the budget reconciliation markup this afternoon. MBA continues to support the shared goal of enacting tax legislation that spurs jobs, economic growth, and investment in our communities. We believe that the framework established by Chairman Smith’s ANS, as proposed, represents an important and necessary step toward that goal.”
NAIOP, Marc Selvitelli, President and Chief Executive Officer: “NAIOP, the Commercial Real Estate Development Association, strongly supports passage of the House budget reconciliation bill. The proposals in the legislation will prevent a massive tax increase on the American taxpayer and on the nation’s job creators. The commercial real estate industry is a major contributor to economic growth and an important component of the economic livelihood of our cities and suburbs, and this bill ensures that our nation’s tax code will continue to support investment in our communities. The legislation ensures continued capital gains treatment for real estate entrepreneurs, extends 100% bonus depreciation to encourage investment, and continues to provide a deduction for the income of pass-through businesses which comprise an important segment of the real estate industry. Passage of the bill by the House and ultimately the Senate would reduce the current uncertainty that many businesses and consumers are facing today. We urge its swift passage.”
Nareit, Robert Dibblee, Senior Vice President of Government Relations: “Nareit supports House passage of the “One Big Beautiful Bill Act.””
National Association of Convenience Stores, Lyle Beckwith, Senior Vice President of Government Relations: “Family businesses face tremendous challenges competing in the marketplace and should not be harmed by tax increases that could make them less competitive than other businesses. That is why the tax provisions of the House reconciliation bill are a top priority for the convenience industry. Our members need the tax relief in the package which further levels the playing field between family businesses and their corporate competitors. The bill would also spur the economy by returning the full ability of businesses to depreciate new investments and correcting problems with limitations on the deduction of business interest payments. NACS urges all members to support the package when it reaches the House Floor so that family businesses receive the tax relief they need to help boost the U.S. economy.”
National Association of Home Builders (NAHB), Lake Coulson, Senior Vice President and Chief Lobbyist: “The One Big Beautiful Bill Act will help improve workforce shortages, reign in government regulations, and provide much-needed additional resources to increase the supply of affordable housing and encourage small businesses to invest in their future. NAHB strongly urges the House to pass this bill.”
National Association of Manufacturers (NAM): “The longer Congress waits, the harder it is for manufacturers to plan, invest and grow jobs. We need certainty now—and this is the moment to deliver one big, beautiful bill that lets us compete and win. Let’s get it done.”
National Asphalt Pavement Association (NAPA), Nile Elam, Vice President of Government Affairs: “On behalf of the National Asphalt Pavement Association (NAPA), we share our support for user-fee increase by capturing the hybrid and electric vehicle (EV) market within the current Budget Reconciliation package before the House…As you know, the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee recently marked up its portion of the budget reconciliation package which included new user-fees for EV and hybrid vehicles. This proposal is endorsed by NAPA, and directly benefits federal investment in our aging national surface transportation network. This new user-fee is not only a step in the right direction in shoring up the highway trust fund but will also address the current inequity of EVs using the roads for free.”
National Association of REALTORS, Shannon McGahn, Executive Vice President and Chief Advocacy Officer: “Thank you to Congressional leaders for putting forward a strong first draft of the tax reform bill that supports America’s middle class and the real estate economy. A recent survey commissioned by the National Association of REALTORS® shows strong, bipartisan voter support for key provisions in the bill that make housing more affordable. From extending lower tax rates and SALT relief to incentives for small businesses and community investment, this bill delivers real benefits that will strengthen the American Dream and help build resilient communities.”
National Association of Wholesaler-Distributors (NAW): “NAW Supports the One Big Beautiful Bill and urges members of the House of Representatives to support and vote for the pro-growth, pro-worker legislation. This bill contains numerous tax provisions that benefit small businesses and workers and will help ensure wholesaler-distributors can continue reinvesting in their businesses, their workforce, and their local communities.”
National Automatic Merchandising Association (NAMA), Lauren Janes, Manager of Government Affairs: “The National Automatic Merchandising Association (NAMA) strongly supports Title XI of the One, Big, Beautiful Bill (OBBB) and urges Congress to pass the legislation to promote economic growth and bolster American businesses…NAMA and its members urge Congress to pass the OBBB to preserve key elements of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (TCJA), particularly the bonus depreciation and expensing provisions, the qualified business income deduction, and competitive marginal tax rates. These provisions empower businesses throughout the convenience services industry to invest in essential equipment and infrastructure, plan for future growth, and provide well-paying job opportunities within every congressional district.”
National Cattlemen’s Beef Association (NCBA), Ethan Lane, Senior Vice President of Government Affairs: “Raising cattle is a difficult business and around the country, family farmers and ranchers are wondering how they can keep their operations going for the next generation. This is why we need Congress to step up and pass the reconciliation bill that delivers tax relief, helps producers keep more of their hard-earned money, and protects the cattle industry against foreign animal disease. It’s time for Congress to finish this critical work and pass this bill so President Trump can sign it into law.”
National Cotton Council: “The National Cotton Council strongly supports efforts by the House of Representatives to advance the comprehensive reconciliation package titled the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, and we commend Chairman ‘GT’ Thompson and all others who have worked so hard to get us to this point. In addition to extending a desperately needed lifeline to Rural America, this legislation will benefit all industries by lowering the tax burden and stimulating economic growth. We urge the House to come together to get this bill over the finish line in the coming days.”
National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA), David Long, Chief Executive Officer: “These provisions recognize the real-world needs of the electrical construction industry. Whether it’s power generation, grid modernization, cutting-edge data center projects, or clean energy installations, electrical contractors are at the forefront of America’s infrastructure evolution. This legislation gives our contractors the certainty they need to plan, invest, and grow. Without swift action, electrical contractors face rising tax burdens that will limit their ability to hire skilled labor, expand operations, and meet the demands of a transforming energy ecosystem. NECA urges Congress to move quickly and deliver the permanent tax relief America’s job creators need.”
National Foreign Trade Council: “We commend the Ways & Means Committee for advancing the elements that are essential for the continued growth and success of the U.S. economy. We urge the House of Representatives to pass this bill and for the Senate to take swift action to allow the President to sign this bill into law.”
National Restaurant Association, Sean Kennedy, Executive Vice President: “This legislation includes the top tax priorities restaurant operators need to grow and continue to be the cornerstones of this country’s local economies. The inclusion of the 199A qualified business income deduction, full expensing of capital investments, and the return of depreciation and amortization in the calculation of business interest expense have been our highest tax priorities for more than two years. We are also pleased to see many other policies like the tax credit for restaurant operators offering family and medical leave are also included. We appreciate the work that has gone into getting the bill to this point and urge House members to pass this legislation to support the restaurant industry and small businesses.”
KEY VOTE – National Retail Federation (NRF), David French Executive Vice President, Government Relations: “On behalf of the National Retail Federation (NRF), I write to express our strong support for the ‘One Big Beautiful Bill.’ This bill, which provides for reconciliation of the Concurrent Resolution for the Budget, H. Con. Res. 14, will provide important tax relief for American families and workers. Retailers recognize the importance that maintaining economic stability and providing long-term, meaningful tax relief to working families will have in boosting the U.S. economy. NRF will consider votes in support of the ‘One Big Beautiful Bill’ as a Key Vote, for inclusion in our Retail Opportunity Index, our legislative scorecard.”
National Roofing Contractors Association (NRCA), McKay Daniels, Chief Executive Officer: “Without swift passage of this legislation, our industry will face rising tax burdens and diminished global competitiveness. Congress must act now to secure a stable future for America’s job creators.”
Association of Equipment Manufacturers: “Equipment manufacturers applaud the House of Representatives for passing the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, which will supercharge job creation and investment in domestic manufacturing. The bill’s critical tax proposals – including protecting the corporate tax rate, reinstating immediate R&D expensing, and increasing the pass-through deduction – will strengthen the U.S. equipment manufacturing industry and bolster our global competitiveness. We urge the Senate to keep these pro-manufacturing provisions and act swiftly to pass this historic legislation.”
NFIB: “The One Big Beautiful Bill Act includes the most important thing Congress can do to help small businesses and their workers – increasing and making the Small Business Deduction permanent,” said Adam Temple, NFIB Senior Vice President for Advocacy. “The bill also provides a tax cut for small business owners through lower individual rates, encourages new capital investments, and helps small business owners provide greater health care benefits to their employees. Members of Congress have a historic opportunity to provide over 33 million small business owners with permanent tax relief and NFIB strongly encourages them to do so.”
Small Business & Entrepreneurship Council: “The ‘One Big, Beautiful Bill’ is a positive and powerful legislative package that will help entrepreneurs and small business owners compete, innovative, and support their employees. The package brings together the various pro-growth and good-government titles advanced by House committees and reflects the priorities of entrepreneurs by offering tax relief and certainty, regulatory accountability, energy affordability and abundance, the right-sizing of various government programs and agencies, and investment policies that supercharge innovation and the modernization of U.S. infrastructure.”
Notably, the powerful tax relief measures include a permanent increase in the Qualified Business Income (QBI) deduction for pass-through businesses from 20% to 23% and will make permanent the lower individual tax rates, providing entrepreneurs with the financial resources they need to invest in their businesses and employees. Immediate R&D expensing, expanded Opportunity Zones, 100% bonus depreciation, an increase in the death tax exemption, the preservation of full Section 179 expensing, and other key provisions will fuel U.S. investment, support capital access and formation, and accelerate innovation, ensuring American small businesses remain competitive and at the forefront of driving quality job growth and economic vibrancy.”
The tax title also addresses a long-standing pain point for small business owners: the rising cost of health care and health coverage. The bill’s improvements to Health Savings Accounts (HSAs), the codification of Individual Coverage Health Reimbursement Arrangements (ICHRAs), and tax incentives for wellness programs provide small businesses and their employees with more flexible health care choices, and will help to reduce costs and improve America’s overall health and well-being.”
The package tackles excessive and outdated regulatory burdens that stifle small business growth by including reforms that improve accountability in the federal rulemaking process and a fixed review of regulations. The package advances strategic regulatory policy on AI, which is both measured and needed in order to encourage adoption, innovation and U.S. global dominance. These various reforms will produce a more rationale regulatory system and a more predictable business environment, allowing small business owners and their employees to focus on growth and innovation rather than navigating excessive red tape. The bill also takes important steps to build U.S. energy independence by reinstating quarterly onshore oil and gas lease sales, reducing burdensome royalty rates, expanding geothermal energy opportunities, and cutting unnecessary paperwork barriers. The measures, along with steps already taken by the Trump Administration, provide small energy producers and entrepreneurs with the certainty they need to support America’s long-term energy security and affordability.”
The bill tackles overdue reforms that will strengthen Medicaid for eligible individuals in need. The smart changes will reduce waste and refocus the program on serving the truly vulnerable. Small businesses depend on well-managed government programs to keep taxes in check, and to ensure that these programs do not discourage work for those capable of doing so.”
SBE Council strongly supports the One Big, Beautiful Bill and urges every member of the U.S. House to vote in support of this economically powerful package. The One Big, Beautiful Bill provides entrepreneurs and small businesses with the tools and policy environment they need to invest in their businesses and workforce, to innovate and strengthen their firms, and to lead America’s economic resurgence.”
Western Energy Alliance: “Unfortunately, the previous administration went out of its way to ignore laws on the books and its own IRA by severely limiting oil and natural gas leasing. This bill will reverse many of those damaging actions while also making leasing, permitting, and environmental analysis more efficient and timely. Western states will especially benefit because they receive nearly half of leasing and production revenues generated under this program. Billions of dollars will once again flow back to the states. We now urge the Senate to take up the bill and pass it quickly.” – Melissa Simpson, President of Western Energy Alliance
American Council of Life Insurers (ACLI): “Advancing meaningful tax relief helps everyday Americans hold on to more of what they earn, creating greater stability, opportunity, and the ability to plan for the future. Life insurers are committed to supporting financial security across every stage of life, and ACLI believes this bill takes a strong step in the right direction.” – CEO David Chavern
HSA Coalition: “Three cheers for the One Big Beautiful bill, which we wholeheartedly support. Its historic tax cuts for senior citizens include a $4,000 deduction and eliminate taxes on tips or overtime. It also significantly extends the 2017 tax cuts, raising the child tax credit from $2,000 to $2,500 and indexing it for inflation. Additionally, the ten Health
Savings Account (HSA) provisions broaden HSAs to include specific populations in Medicare, the ACA, and Medicaid in some states while adding a helpful health care tax credit and ICHRA provisions to the bill. Mr. President, we have urged all members of the U.S. Senate to vote for it on the Senate
floor. These opportunities do not come around often, and allowing disagreements about one or more provisions to lead to a No vote or a bill-killing amendment will prevent the
substantial and historic down payment on reforms that the bill proposes, potentially resulting in no bill at all.
We at the HSA Coalition have a rule when lobbying: don’t say No to Yes. This rule has served the HSA industry well. We have grown from zero Americans with an HSA to over 60 million people with a Health Savings Account—and we achieved this, in large part, by not saying No to Yes.” – Daniel Perrin, Founder
National Fraternal Order of Police: “The ‘One Big Beautiful Bill Act’ is more than legislation-it is a promise kept to the public safety officers across the country and a bold step toward an economy that respects, rewards, and uplifts the people who keep it safe. President Trump first proposed the elimination of Federal income taxes on overtime while still a candidate, and we are very pleased that a similar provision is included in the ‘One Big, Beautiful Bill Act.’ The current cap on SALT deductions uniquely and unfairly penalizes law enforcement officers, who often are required to live within a certain distance of the jurisdictions they serve-removing a valuable mechanism that allowed for a reduction in their cost of living. The SALT deduction is also a valuable way of supporting local budgets as law enforcement agencies are facing an array of financial challenges associated with inflated costs of equipment, vehicles, and personnel especially with respect to the ongoing recruitment and retention crisis. These are critical provisions to ensure those in the law enforcement profession have a better quality of life. We appreciate that President Trump is always fighting for our nation’s law enforcement officers.
Leadership of the International Association of Fire Fighters: “Firefighters and emergency medical workers shouldn’t be penalized for choosing a career in public service. President Trump respects the contributions lAFF members make to our country and recognizes the importance of ensuring these brave men and women can keep more of their hard-earned money. These common-sense tax proposals from President Trump improve our members’ quality of life and allow them to focus on what matters most: keeping their communities safe.”
American Airlines: “American Airlines stands in strong support of the much-needed funding to bolster and modernize our air traffic control system in the House reconciliation bill. The U.S. air traffic control system’s technology and infrastructure have fallen behind much of the world. As President Trump and Secretary Duffy urgently work to build a state-of-the-art air traffic control system, this down payment is an essential first step in making aviation even safer and more efficient. The reconciliation bill also extends other key pro-growth tax policies that provide businesses with the necessary certainty to continue driving the economy, including extending the Clean Fuel Production Credit (45Z). This will further deliver on our nation’s goal to promote energy security, create jobs, and return the U.S. to energy dominance. We urge Congress to move swiftly and pass the bill.”
Energy Equipment & Infrastructure Alliance: “We strongly support the One Big Beautiful Bill. We are especially supportive of provisions that enable streamlined NEPA reviews, including adding the proposed new Section 112 to NEPA; limiting endless opposition-driven judicial challenges to environmental impact statements and assessments, and federalizing eminent domain authority for CO2 and hydrogen pipelines such as now exists for natural gas pipelines. These provisions will unleash new investments in critical midstream infrastructure necessary to enable transmission of natural gas to fuel power generation for AI data centers, and facilitate investments in CCS to enable low-carbon fuel production from ethanol, low-carbon fertilizers and ammonia, and enhanced oil recovery (EOR).”
American Iron and Steel Institute: AISI urges the House to pass the “One Big Beautiful Bill Act”, as it restores key tax provisions that encourage manufacturing investment, such as 100 percent bonus depreciation for business investment, immediate expensing for domestic R&D and the EBITDA-based limitation on business net interest deductions. To maintain the steel industry’s global competitiveness, we must have a pro-growth federal tax policy!
Equipment Leasing & Finance Association, Andy Fishburn, Senior Vice President of Public Policy: “ELFA appreciates the inclusion of, and supports passage of, 100% expensing and business interest deductibility in the House Reconciliation Bill. We support 100% expensing and business interest deductibility because they incentivize capital investment, enabling businesses to grow, innovate, and create jobs.”c
Family Business Coalition: “Family Business Coalition supports the ‘One, Big, Beautiful Bill’ which includes tax relief that will help family businesses expand, upgrade equipment, and hire more workers. FBC urges the House to take action now to move this process forward in Congress.”
Family Business Estate Tax Coalition (FBETC): “The members of the Family Business Estate Tax Coalition (FBETC) write to express our gratitude to Chairman Jason Smith and the Members of the House Committee on Ways and Means for their efforts to advance tax provisions that address the needs of family-owned businesses, farms, and ranches. Most importantly, we applaud the inclusion of meaningful estate tax relief in the committee-approved text, and we urge the House Representatives to move swiftly to prioritize measures that strengthen small businesses and promote economic growth.”
Finseca: “On behalf of Finseca and the more than 11,000 financial security professionals we represent nationwide, I write to express strong support for the recently introduced legislative proposals to meet the reconciliation directive in Section 2001 of the FY2025 Budget Resolution (H. Con. Res. 14). We support advancing policies that foster economic opportunity, financial security, and long-term planning for American families and small predictability to the tax code provides much-needed clarity for our members and the millions they serve.” businesses. Your commitment to restoring permanence and
Forest Landowners Association, Craig Anderson, Vice President of Government Affairs: “The Forest Landowners Association commends Congress for their diligent efforts in crafting a budget reconciliation package that includes many critical business provisions. Chief among them is the proposed increase in the estate tax exemption to $15 million—a meaningful step that provides much-needed certainty to family-owned businesses, including multi-generational forest landowners. This and other provisions represent important progress for rural communities and the broader economy.”
Forging Industry Association, Angela Gibian, Interim President and Chief Executive Officer: “This legislation is long overdue and Congress needs to move on the Ways and Means tax bill today. Manufacturers in the forging industry must constantly invest to remain globally competitive and the reinstatement especially of the R&D and capital expensing incentives is what our manufacturers need right now. If Washington wants manufacturing to grow and create jobs, the House should pass this bill now.”
Future of the Beauty Industry Coalition: “FBIC supports the Tax Reconciliation bill. This bill supports Main Street small businesses and workers who receive a portion of their compensation via tips.”
HSA Coalition, Daniel Perrin, Founder: “Well played! And three cheers for the One Big Beautiful bill, which we wholeheartedly support. Its historic tax cuts for senior citizens feature a $4,000 deduction and no tax on tips or overtime. It also significantly extends the 2017 tax cuts, increasing the child tax credit from $2,000 to $2,500 and indexing it for inflation. Additionally, the ten Health Savings Account (HSA) provisions expand HSAs to Medicare, the ACA, and Medicaid in some states and add the helpful health care tax credit and ICHRA provisions in the bill. This truly makes it One Big Beautiful bill.”
National Small Business Association (NSBA), Todd McCracken, President and Chief Executive Officer: “On behalf of the National Small Business Association (NSBA) and its more than 65,000 members, I write in support of the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, A bill to provide for reconciliation pursuant to title II of the Concurrent Resolution on the Budget for Fiscal Year 2025, H.Con.Res.14. This pro-growth legislation not only extends key elements of the successful 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (TCJA) but builds on that legacy by enhancing and making permanent the provisions that enable America’s job creators to grow and thrive.”
National Stone, Sand & Gravel Association (NSSGA), Michele Stanley, Interim Chief Executive Officer: “On behalf of the National Stone, Sand & Gravel Association (NSSGA), I am writing to express our gratitude for introducing the One Big Beautiful Bill Act. NSSGA encourages the House of Representatives to pass this package in a timely manner. These policies will ultimately strengthen the aggregates industry and the American economy.”
KEY VOTE – National Taxpayers Union (NTU), Thomas Aiello, Senior Director of Government Affairs: “National Taxpayers Union urges all Representatives to vote ‘YES’ on the ‘One Big Beautiful Bill Act.’ This comprehensive reconciliation package would deliver much-needed tax certainty, achieve significant spending reductions, and make our government more efficient and effective. While not perfect, passage is a critical step toward ensuring the economic growth from President Trump’s tax cuts and deregulation efforts will be felt quickly.”
National Thoroughbred Racing Association (NTRA), Tom Rooney, President and Chief Executive Officer: “Thoroughbred racing has an annual economic impact of $36 billion and is responsible for half a million jobs. This bill will give the industry the flexibility it needs to thrive. I praised the House Ways and Means Committee for swiftly passing this bill and now encourage Congress to come together and do the same.”
National Tooling and Machining Association, Roger Atkins, President: “This bill provides direct support to family-owned and privately held businesses like those that make up the National Tooling and Machining Association. As pass-through entities, our members pay taxes at the individual rate, which can limit the capital available to reinvest in their operations. By reducing that burden, the bill will help thousands of manufacturers grow their businesses and create more American manufacturing jobs.”
North American Die Casting Association, Mike Meyer, President: “Die casting manufacturers are among the most capital and energy intensive businesses in the country. This is why the North American Die Casting Association supports the Ways and Means Committee bill – it will help create jobs and incentivize our manufacturers to spend here in the U.S. The House needs to move quickly to pass this bill and create more growth opportunities for our manufacturers.”
KEY VOTE – NumbersUSA: “For decades Congress has promised to secure the border and failed to deliver. The House Reconciliation bill delivers on the promise of building the border wall, 10,000 ICE officers, detention beds, historic funding for Customs and Border Patrol and a tax on money illegal aliens send out of the country. The Trump Administration needs this funding to deport illegal aliens, millions of whom entered the country over the last four years. The American people voted in mass this last election to secure our borders and return law and order to our immigration system. Congress must not fail them. NumbersUSA will be key voting the floor vote on the Reconciliation bill.”
Occidental, Vicki Hollub, President and Chief Executive Officer: “We support the House budget reconciliation bill because it will help ensure long-term energy security for the United States. Preserving 45Q, which is in the bill, will enable the development of technology to extend production of U.S. oil and gas reservoirs, help the U.S. avoid peak production in the Permian Basin and other oil fields, and, ultimately, improve the quality of American lives.”
POET, Joshua Shields, Senior Vice President of Corporate Affairs: “POET is pleased to see an extension of the 45Z clean fuel production incentives included in the House reconciliation package. The 4-year extension will provide our farmers and biofuel producers with much-needed certainty for implementing technologies and practices that are critical for accessing new and growing markets. This would not have been possible without U.S. Representatives Randy Feenstra (IA-04), Michelle Fischbach (MN-07), Adrian Smith (NE-03), and Darin LaHood (IL-16), champions on the Ways and Means Committee who advocated for provisions to support American agriculture and ethanol in this package.”
Precision Machined Products Association, Miles Free, Director Emeritus: “Our precision machining companies compete globally on human safety critical components for medical, automotive, aerospace and other “can’t fail, mission critical parts.” Our shops are job creators, preferred employers in our communities, and often the first to innovate with new processes and technologies. This bill gives us the support and certainty we need to plan and make the critical investments and hiring decisions so our shops can continue to make the high precision parts that make a difference- right here in the USA.”
Precision Metalforming Association, David Klotz, President: “Whether serving the automotive, aerospace, or defense sectors, our member manufacturers rely on a stable tax environment to grow. The Precision Metalforming Association supports the Ways and Means Committee tax bill, which will not only create jobs today but also encourage long-term investment. The House should act quickly to pass this bill and jump-start research and growth here in the U.S.”
Professional Beauty Association, Leslie Perry, Executive Director: “We are incredibly grateful to Members of the House for acknowledging the unique challenges faced by salon, spa, and barbering professionals. This legislation not only promotes tax fairness—it also reinforces a commitment to supporting the 1.3 million individuals working in our industry, 83% of whom are women and nearly half of whom represent minority-owned businesses. It’s a meaningful step forward for the thousands of small business owners who strengthen and serve their communities everyday.”
Repsol Oil and Gas USA, LLC, Jose Murillas, Executive Director North America E&P: “Repsol Oil & Gas USA, LLC supports the House Budget reconciliation bill in all aspects related to the Oil & Gas sector as it contains relevant energy and tax provisions that will foster domestic investments and energy production, enabling American Oil & Gas companies like ours to compete globally and contributing to US energy security.”
Retail Industry Leaders Association, Courtney Titus Brooks, Vice President, Tax: “The Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (TCJA) fueled a wave of investment in innovation and workforce development since 2017. Maintaining the current corporate tax rate and preserving long-standing business deductions is critical for the American economy and positions American business to compete on a global stage. As full corporate tax rate payers, when Congress lowered the corporate rate, it gave retailers the ability to invest in their workers, their businesses and the communities they serve. Since TCJA’s enactment, the U.S. economy has been the envy of the industrialized world. As the House considers the One Big Beautiful Bill Act this week, the nation’s leading retailers hope Congress will provide tax certainty on what has already proven to be successful.”
RATE Coalition, Dan Combs, Executive Director: “This legislation is a clear step toward preserving a tax code that spurs job creation, boosts wages, and builds on the legacy created by President Trump and Congress under the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act. Now is the time for Congress to come together, finish the work, and deliver a strong, stable economic foundation for American workers and businesses. A competitive corporate tax rate is key to keeping the U.S. ahead and a top destination for investment in the global economy. This bill goes a long way towards making that possible.”
S Corporation Association, Brian Reardon, President: “Passage of the reconciliation bill is essential to the economic health of Main Street and the millions of workers they employ. Absent its adoption, Main Street will face a tax hike of historic proportions while spending will continue to grow at unsustainable rates. This bill helps Main Street thrive and puts the focus on controlling spending, where it belongs.”
SAF Coalition: “On behalf of the SAF Coalition, we commend the extension of the Clean Fuel Production Credit (45Z) through 2031 in the bill passed through the House Committee on Ways & Means and the House Committee on the Budget and support the One Big Beautiful Bill with the inclusion of this extension. This critical legislation provides long-term certainty for SAF producers, incentivizes private sector investment, and builds out a robust domestic supply chain.”
Small Business & Entrepreneurship Council, Karen Kerrigan, President and Chief Executive Officer: “The ‘One Big, Beautiful Bill’ is a positive and powerful legislative package that will help entrepreneurs and small business owners compete, innovative, and support their employees.

Resolution 14 Title 2001(b)(l), the U.S. House Agriculture Committee budget legislation focusing on Investment in Rural America. SCG’s members are cotton producers operating diversified operations in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia.”
Steel Manufacturers Association: “The steel tariff and the tax cuts are the most critical contributions that government has made to the domestic steel industry in decades. Congress should renew these investments in American workers. We urge support for the One Big Beautiful Bill Act.”
Tax Aggies Coalition, coalition of 45 national and regional agricultural trade associations: “As representatives of the U.S. agriculture industry, we write to thank the Members of the House Committee on Ways and Means—particularly Chairman Smith—for their efforts to advance tax provisions that address the needs of farmers, ranchers, and small businesses. We are encouraged by elements of the package that will provide meaningful support to the agriculture sector. As the reconciliation process moves forward, we urge the House of Representatives to move swiftly to prioritize measures that strengthen rural communities and promote economic stability across American agriculture without delay.”
T-Mobile, Tony Russo, Vice President of Federal Legislative Affairs: “T-Mobile strongly supports the House Reconciliation Package. The tax and spectrum provisions will jumpstart economic growth and advance US leadership in wireless communications. We appreciate Congress’s work on these key issues for our economic future, and we look forward to swift passage so that we can begin putting these policies to work.”
Texas Farm Bureau, Russell Boening, President: “Texas Farm Bureau (TFB) strongly supports the reconciliation bill being considered by Congress. Texas farm and ranch families are facing the worst farm economy since the 1980s due to many challenges beyond their control. As these hard-working Americans work daily to provide food, fuel, and fiber for consumers across the world, Congress must deliver long-term certainty to keep them operating. The reconciliation bill meets this important goal by strengthening the farm safety net and extending or making permanent key tax provisions critically important to agriculture. We urge Congress to act now to deliver real results for farmers, ranchers, and consumers. The time to act is now – failure to do so could result in the loss of many farm and ranch operations across the country.”
The Libre Initiative, Sandra Benitez, Executive Director: “We commend the House Budget Committee for taking a positive step to ensure that we continue extending tax relief to middle-class families and job creators, including Latinos who cannot afford a tax hike. Now it is critical that the House of Representatives have a full House vote as quickly as possible and approve this pro-growth legislation to help unleash prosperity and opportunity for all. The LIBRE Initiative looks forward to educating and activating the Latino community on the benefits of this critical legislation.”
Transportation Intermediaries Association: “The Transportation Intermediaries Association strongly supports the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee’s provisions in the reconciliation package that will enhance highway safety by establishing a motor carrier selection standard and ensure long-term infrastructure funding by incorporating electric vehicles into the user fee structure. These are practical, forward-looking solutions, and we urge their swift passage.”
KEY VOTE – U.S. Chamber of Commerce, Rodney Davis, Senior Vice President for Government Affairs: “The Chamber supports House passage of the One Big Beautiful Bill Act that would permanently extend President Trump’s pro-growth tax reforms, curb the growth in federal spending, and advance important regulatory reforms. The legislation would strengthen America’s global competitiveness and fuel long-term economic growth. Like any large piece of legislation, there is always opportunity for refinement, and we look forward to continued collaboration with members of Congress and the administration as the process moves forward. Today, it is essential that the House keep the reconciliation process moving forward and to that end will consider inclusion of House passage on its annual Key Vote list.”
Uber: “Uber supports the reconciliation bill and its provision enabling drivers and couriers to keep 100% of the tips they earn. The No Tax On Tips legislation will help millions of American workers keep more money in their pockets following years of cost increases. We appreciate President Trump and the House Ways & Means Committee for including independent contractors in this bill and look forward to its passage.”
United Airlines: “United Airlines applauds the inclusion of funding to strengthen our nation’s Air Traffic Control (ATC) system in the House budget reconciliation bill. Importantly, passage of this legislation will accelerate long-overdue ATC investments and serve as a critical down payment in support of President Trump’s and Secretary Duffy’s transformational efforts to enhance safety, efficiency, and innovation in our airspace infrastructure…We look forward to House passage and working with Congress and the administration to ensure these investments are implemented to the benefit of the traveling public and the U.S. economy.”
United States Peanut Federation, Jamie Brown, Chairman: “The United States Peanut Federation (USPF) is pleased to support the House Agriculture Committee’s Budget Reconciliation bill, which addresses the current challenging economic times for the U.S. peanut industry. With the impact of rising costs of production and low commodity prices, farmers are struggling financially. There have been two extensions of the 2018 Farm Bill which, due to antiquated data, provides little in the form of a safety net for producers in today’s marketplace. The Agriculture Committee’s bill addresses these outdated farm bill provisions, updates key pieces of the farm safety net, and supports commodity export, research, and marketing efforts. This bill assures that growers, agribusinesses, and rural communities can move forward with confidence in farm policy for the foreseeable future.”
UPS: “UPS applauds policymakers for advancing this legislative package to foster economic growth nationwide. A competitive tax environment will enhance our ability to provide reliable service to customers of all sizes and further invest in the local communities where we live and work. We urge Congress to swiftly pass this bill.”
USA Dry Pea & Lentil Council: “As representatives of the U.S. agriculture industry, we write to thank the Members of the House Committee on Ways and Means—particularly Chairman Smith—for their efforts to advance tax provisions that address the needs of farmers, ranchers, and small businesses. We are encouraged by elements of the package that will provide meaningful support to the agriculture sector. As the reconciliation process moves forward, we urge the House of Representatives to move swiftly to prioritize measures that strengthen rural communities and promote economic stability across American agriculture without delay.”
USA Rice: “USA Rice appreciates Congress’s recognition of the needs of America’s farmers, agricultural businesses, and rural communities. The One Big Beautiful Bill Act makes significant, much-needed investments in the farm safety net and includes several favorable tax provisions to help keep families farming. USA Rice urges swift passage of this important legislation.”
Verizon, Robert Fisher, Senior Vice President of Federal Government Relations: “Verizon strongly supports the House legislation to be considered this weekend that provides a new spectrum pipeline, spectrum auction authority and extension of the 2017 TCJA. Together, these policies incentivize greater investment in our networks. Full expensing for equipment and research and experimentation expenses would also be reinstated under the bill, allowing for immediate tax deductions for investments in broadband equipment and qualified research. These important policies, that are similar to the 2017 TCJA, gave our business the certainty needed which resulted in Verizon investing over $210B in spectrum auctions and CAPEX since 2017. This type of investment would not have been possible without these critical tax policies. This, along with our recent announcement of investing $5B in small businesses over the next 5 years, demonstrates our commitment to the growth and investment in the U.S. economy ensuring we lead the world in next generation broadband technology.”
Wine & Spirits Wholesalers of America: “Passage of the reconciliation bill is critical to the future of family-owned businesses including America’s wine and spirits wholesalers. We strongly urge Congress to pass the legislation without delay.”
Alliance for the Future: “We support the One Big, Beautiful Bill specifically because it includes the AI moratorium which is a much-needed course correction for the patchwork chaos emerging from state legislatures. A 10-year pause on state-level AI regulation gives innovators the breathing room to build, experiment, and deploy transformative tools without navigating 50 conflicting rulebooks. It’s not about gutting guardrails—it’s about building smart, national ones that reflect real use cases, not political headlines. This is pro-innovation, pro-consumer, and exactly the kind of federal leadership America’s AI future needs.” – Perry Metzger, Chairman
Digital First Project: “The One Big, Beautiful Bill strikes the right balance between bold innovation and fiscal responsibility. It empowers American entrepreneurs to lead in critical technologies while ensuring taxpayer dollars are spent wisely and transparently. This is the kind of forward-looking, common-sense policymaking that builds long-term prosperity for our nation.” – Nathan Leamer, Executive Director, Digital First Project
CPAC: President Donald J. Trump won a mandate to govern. The Big, Beautiful Bill is an opportunity to change the course of our country for future generations. With More border security, the largest tax cut in American history and ending taxpayer funding for woke policies, President Trump and House Republicans are delivering for the American people.
Christian Employers Alliance: “A major milestone has been reached: the House has passed the comprehensive tax bill that includes vital provisions for small businesses—and now it’s on its way to the Senate.CEA is proud to have been a strong and consistent voice advocating for these reforms on behalf of Christian business leaders across the country. We’re especially honored that the White House has repeatedly published our statements and support throughout this legislative process. This bill contains several long-awaited victories that directly benefit small businesses, including:
Increased Pass-Through Deduction: Raises the small business deduction from 20% to 23%, delivering real relief for pass-through entities.
Permanent Individual Tax Rate Cuts: Makes the 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act’s rate reductions permanent—offering long-term certainty for small business owners filing individually.
Restored 100% Bonus Depreciation: Reinstates full expensing for capital investments, giving businesses the ability to grow and reinvest immediately.
Enhanced R&D Expensing: Allows immediate expensing of domestic research and development costs, fueling innovation.
These reforms are the result of relentless advocacy—CEA has fought to ensure Christian-owned businesses are not left behind in today’s economic environment. As the bill heads to the Senate, we urge lawmakers to protect these provisions. Stripping them out would be a betrayal of America’s job creators—and Christian business leaders who are working every day to serve their employees, communities, and mission.” – Margaret Luculano, President
