Ezra Mechaber worked in the Office of Digital strategy from 2011 to 2015. He served as Deputy Director of Email and Petitions, where he worked on the We the People petitions platform and email program, in addition to the White House Tumblr.

Prior to joining the White House in 2011, Ezra worked for a Cambridge, MA based web startup. A native of Sherborn, Massachusetts, he graduated from University of Rochester with a B.A. in political science and religion.
