Later in the morning, the President will depart San Fracisco, California en route Los Angeles, California. The departure from San Francisco International Airport and the arrival at Los Angeles International Airport are open to pre-credentialed media.

In the afternoon, the President will participate in a DSCC roundtable. This event  at a private residence is closed press. Following this event, the President will deliver remarks at a DNC event. There will be print pool coverage of this event at a private residence.

Later in the afternoon, the President will deliver remarks and take questions at a DNC event at a private residence. There will be print pool coverage of the President’s remarks.

In the evening, the President will depart Los Angeles, California en route San Diego, California. The departure from Los Angeles International Airport and the arrival at Marine Corps Air Station Miramar are open to pre-credentialed media.

The President will remain overnight in Rancho Santa Fe.

Later in the morning, the President will welcome President Joachim Gauck of Germany to the White House for a bilateral meeting in the Oval Office. The Vice President will also attend. President Gauck’s visit will mark the 25th anniversary of German reunification and underscore the abiding friendship and partnership between the United States and Germany. There will be a pool spray at the top of the meeting.

In the afternoon, the President will deliver remarks at the White House Summit on Worker Voice. The summit will bring together workers, union leaders, worker advocates, and businesses to explore ways to ensure that working Americans are fully sharing in the benefits of the broad-based economic growth that they are helping to create. The President’s remarks in the East Room are open press.

Later in the afternoon, the President will meet with Secretary of State Kerry in the Oval Office; the Vice President will also attend. This meeting is closed press.

Afterwards, the President will participate in a conversation co-hosted by Coworker.org with workers, employers, unions, organizers and other advocates and experts on how we can energize a new generation of Americans to come together and recognize the potential power of their voice at work. This closing dialogue will include questions and stories from both participants in the room, and workers and organizers from around the country, via the Coworker.org platform.
