Today, President Joseph R. Biden, Jr. made additional disaster assistance available to the State of Florida by authorizing an increase in the level of federal funding for Public Assistance projects undertaken in the State of Florida as a result of Hurricane Ian during the period of September 23 to November 4, 2022.

Under the President’s order today, the federal share for Public Assistance has been increased to 90 percent of the total eligible costs, except assistance previously approved at 100 percent.
