Vice President Kamala Harris today met Prime Minister Philip Davis of The Commonwealth of The Bahamas at the White House. The Vice President congratulated The Bahamas on assuming the Chair of the Caribbean Community, and reaffirmed the U.S. commitment to strengthen our partnership with the nations and people of the Caribbean.  The Vice President highlighted efforts through the U.S.-Caribbean Partnership to Address the Climate Crisis 2030 to help address energy security, the effects of climate change, and other challenges facing the region.  The two also discussed the ongoing situation in Haiti, and the Vice President thanked Prime Minister Davis for The Bahamas’ cooperation on migration.
