Today, Vice President Harris, as Chair of the National Space Council, convened members of the Space Council’s Users’ Advisory Group (UAG) at the White House. The Vice President laid out her vision for the work of the UAG and thanked members for their leadership and service. UAG members discussed their perspectives and ideas related to space and how the UAG can support the National Space Council. Today’s meeting with the Vice President was preceded by the inaugural UAG meeting under this Administration.
 
The UAG is responsible for making recommendations to the National Space Council on space policy and strategy, including government policies, laws, regulations, treaties, international instruments, space programs and practices across civil, commercial and national security space sectors.
