On Thursday, November 2, President Joe Biden will host President Gabriel Boric of Chile for a bilateral meeting at the White House. In 2023, the United States and Chile marked 200 years of diplomatic relations, and during the meeting, President Biden will reaffirm the United States’ commitment to its partnership with Chile. The two leaders will also discuss issues of shared concern, including promoting further economic cooperation, combatting climate change, and addressing irregular migration.

President Biden and President Boric will also discuss the Americas Partnership for Economic Prosperity Leaders’ Summit, where the United States, Chile, and other regional partners will deepen our collective economic engagement to create a more integrated and prosperous Americas, especially as we seek to speed up the clean energy transition.
