Contact Us – Terms of Use
The Office of Presidential Correspondence is committed to facilitating an open dialogue between President Donald J. Trump and the American people. These terms of use provide information on what type of materials the White House can accept, our mail and email preferences, and how we may share the contents of your message.
This Webform is our Preferred Method of Communication
To contact the White House, to request a greeting from the President, or to get help with a Federal Agency, users should submit their message through our webform. Due to unprecedented levels of incoming correspondence, mailing any physical materials to the White House will delay delivery of your message and create significant delays in response time.
Due to security concerns, the Office of Presidential Correspondence may not be able to accommodate certain physical materials when mailed to the White House. Items containing perishables, glitter, hazardous materials, animal waste, or anything posing a risk of harm to personnel or property may not be deliverable. Users that mail items containing these physical materials may be referred to law enforcement for investigation.
If You Mail Physical Materials to the White House, Please be Aware of the Following:
- Knowingly mailing materials that could damage Government property; e.g, glitter; or pose a risk to the life and health of Government personnel is prohibited by law, and violators may face imprisonment and civil penalties for each offense.
- The Office of Presidential Correspondence may not be able to process agency casework if materials are physically mailed to the White House. For example, mailing physical copies of personnel records will delay processing of your agency issue.
- Information you give us may be shared with other Government agencies. In accordance with the Privacy Policy, the Office of Presidential Correspondence may need to collect some personal information from you to respond appropriately to your message. In some cases, we may share this information with other White House components or government agencies. For example, if you seek assistance on a matter within the jurisdiction of a federal agency, we may share your information with that agency for the limited purpose of addressing your request for assistance. Please visit the Privacy Policy for more information.
