Dr. Rahul Gupta Joins President Biden and Administration Officials at White House to Mark World AIDS Day

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Dr. Rahul Gupta, Director of the White House Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP), joined President Biden and Administration officials at the White House to mark the occasion of World AIDS Day 2021 and support the launch of the updated National HIV/AIDS Strategy through 2025.

“ONDCP welcomes the release of the updated National HIV/AIDS Strategy,” said Dr. Rahul Gupta, Director of National Drug Control Policy. “Achieving the new 2025 NHAS goals will lessen the impact from both HIV and substance use disorder in the United States. As a practicing physician, I welcome such complementary approaches that contribute to the overall health and wellbeing of patients, communities, and the nation.”
