The President’s Council on Sports, Fitness, and Nutrition

Mission
To engage, educate and empower all Americans to lead healthier, more fulfilling lives through regular physical activity, good nutrition, and mental well-being.
The Council is appointed by the President and is comprised of professional athletes, physicians, health and fitness leaders, and business professionals.
The President’s Council on Sports, Fitness, and Nutrition is a cornerstone of our national health renewal.
2026 will mark the 250th anniversary of our great Nation, the 70th anniversary of the original President’s Council on Youth Fitness, and showcase the continuation of America’s global dominance in sports.
Over the next three years, America will host the Ryder Cup, the President’s Cup, the FIFA World Cup, and the Olympic Games – the world’s premiere sporting competitions. These events will provide fitness aspirations for all generations of Americans.
This Council will unify its mission to America’s youth, health and wellbeing, athletic institutions, and civic leaders. It is the policy of the United States to immediately prioritize the promotion of sports participation, physical fitness, unified strength, fairness in competition, and nutrition among all Americans.
