Frontiers of Benefit-Cost Analysis
In March of 2023, the National Science and Technology Council established a new Subcommittee on Frontiers of Benefit-Cost Analysis as a technical community of practice where Federal agencies can:
- Share knowledge and expertise on advancing benefit-cost analysis;
- Aid each other in accessing new data, methods, and expertise; and
- Identify areas where additional research, including by non-governmental actors, could meaningfully advance agency capacity to quantify or monetize costs and benefits.
Researchers can reach out to the email address Frontiers@omb.eop.gov to provide agencies with relevant studies, datasets, or other information that would inform benefit-cost analysis.
