But it’s more than that: it’s a foreign influence operation meant to hurt the administration and one of our most effective members. Notice how all of the people attacking Steve are on background? That means it’s two or three deep staters who are angry that Witkoff has succeeded where they’ve failed. You know what this “reporter” left out to make room for anonymous quotes? The full quote from the sitting vice president, on the record. A quote from the secretary of the state, on the record. The full quote from the UK’s Jonathan Powell, one of the most respected national security people in the Western World, who defended Steve vigorously from these malicious smears. The person who wrote this garbage is @felschwartz. Aside from the failure to include on the record information directly contradicting her reporting, I wonder if she ever asked herself why these anonymous sources came to her at this moment with this particular story. They have an agenda to blow up the president’s efforts to make peace, and they saw her as a useful vessel to launder garbage into the conversation, truth be damned. There are two possible explanations: Felicia is just not very smart, and allowed herself to be used by deep state con men. Or she’s in on it, and used her position to willingly participate in a literal foreign influence operation. Either way, it’s disgraceful. To set the record straight: Steve Witkoff is an invaluable member of our team. He did not mislead anyone on what the Russians told him and what the Russians conceded. (Trust me, I’ve seen the intel.) In addition, the statistics Peter Baker used to justify his claims were released by the Metro Police Department’s Leadership who are under investigation by the Department of Justice for manipulating crime data.

The business had not taken basic steps to avoid employing illegal immigrants, such as registering for E-Verify. It had also previously received nearly $1 million in public funds, much of which was intended to be used by the company to employ Americans.CNN has a history of fearmongering. They very intentionally utilize quotes, descriptions, and imagery that paints law enforcement in a negative light in order to accumulate support for their anti-law enforcement narrative. It is despicable that a major news organization like CNN would maintain an antagonistic approach to law & order.

Zarutska’s murderer, Decarlos Brown, Jr., was a repeat felon and career criminal who had recently been released from jail in accordance with “no cash bail” policies in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina.Marc Caputo claimed that those who would promulgate footage of this horrific event serve as, “a visual counterpoint to statistics showing crime decreases.” Ask yourself, why would Axios, who according to their mission statement claim to be, “turning our full focus to a deeper crisis faced by Americans: the erosion of truth, trust, safety and sanity in the news,” be devoting their labor toward a biased narrative that erodes truth, trust, safety and sanity in the news. There is nothing trustworthy about the way that Axios covered this story. There is nothing safe about discouraging citizens from advocating on behalf of Iryna Zarutska, and there is nothing sane about choosing to push back against those holding murderous animals accountable for their crimes. This tragic incident is deserving of America’s attention. Axios and Marc Caputo chose to publish an article that treated citizens calling for law and order in their country with disdain rather than report the news in an honest and unbiased manner.
