Jenny Kaplan
Deputy Assistant to the President and Senior Advisor to the Director of the Office of Public Engagement
Jenny Kaplan serves as Deputy Assistant to the President and Senior Advisor to the Director of the Office of Public Engagement where she helps lead the OPE team and is responsible for the private sector and partnerships portfolio. Previously, she served as Senior Advisor to Gina Raimondo, U.S. Secretary of Commerce. Prior to joining the Biden-Harris Administration, Jenny served as Vice President at the Greater Washington Partnership, a civic-alliance of leading employers across the Capital Region. She held two positions in the Obama Administration, first as Deputy Director of the White House Council on Women and Girls and then as Director of the White House Fellows Program. Jenny was a Vice President at Goldman Sachs, where she launched and led 10,000 Small Businesses in Chicago, Cleveland, and Detroit. Jenny graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
