Sydney Harvey
Advisor for Public Engagement
Sydney Harvey is an Advisor for Public Engagement in the Office of Public Engagement where she primarily supports the sports, arts and entertainment portfolios. Previously, she served as the Special Assistant to Infrastructure Implementation Coordinator and Senior Advisor to President Biden Mitch Landrieu. In this role she helped coordinate the rollout of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law agenda and engagements at the state and local level. She was featured in The Root’s “Young and Talented 40 & under Black White House Staffers” list. Earlier in her career, she served as the Executive Assistant and Legislative Aide for Congressman Thomas Suozzi serving New York’s 3rd Congressional District. She debuted her career in public service on the Committee on Homeland Security under Chairman Bennie G. Thompson. She graduated with honors from George Washington University and earned her degree in Sociology with a concentration in law and society.
