THE OFFENSE
MSNBC reporter Josh Einiger claimed the motive in the White House Correspondent’s Dinner assassination attempt was unclear — even after the so-called “manifesto” of the would-be assassin was made public.
THE TRUTH
The manifesto – which was published and presumably read by Einiger prior to his segment –stated he believed it was his righteous duty to target President Trump and members of the Trump Administration. Of course, MSNBC has a long history of attempting to downplay left-wing violence, with then-contributor Matthew Dowd suggesting the assassination of Charlie Kirk may have happened as a result of “a supporter shooting their gun off in celebration.”

• MS NOW once again tried to downplay Radical Left political violence.
