The mainstream media is completely out of touch, and chooses to be helplessly fixated on Beltway gossip and political theater. Rather than acknowledge or celebrate a landmark American achievement, reporters offered the astronauts no recognition, no congratulations, and no substantive engagement – a telling display of misplaced priorities.
