Amanda Bailey
Special Assistant for Partnerships and Global Engagement, National Security Council
Amanda Bailey is a Special Assistant for Partnerships and Global Engagement for the National Security Council and works closely with the Liaison for American Muslim Communities in the Office of Public Engagement. She is currently on detail from the Housing and Civil Enforcement Section of the Civil Rights Division of the Department of Justice. Amanda is a first-generation college student and has a Ph.D. in English from West Virginia University, M.A. in English from the University of Toledo, and is currently working on her J.D. at American University Washington College of Law, where she is a senior staffer on AUWCL’s International Law Journal and a proud member of AUWCL’s Mock Trial Team.
