Lisa T. Su, PhD, is an electrical engineer who is an expert in semiconductor devices and high-performance processors.  Originally from Taiwan, she pioneered new ways to connect computer chips using copper instead of aluminum, resulting in 20% faster chip speeds.

  • Awarded the Semiconductor Industry Association Robert N. Noyce Award, IEEE Robert N. Noyce Medal, and Global Semiconductor Association Dr. Morris Chang Exemplary Leadership Award.
  • Named Fortune Magazine’s #2 “Business Person of the Year” for 2020, one of the “Most Powerful Women in Business” by Fortune Magazine, and Barron’s “World’s Best CEOs” of 2019.
